Migrations Seminar Series - Miliann Kang

Last week, the Migrations Hub received the distinguished presence of Miliann Kang, Associate Professor in Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and affiliated faculty in Sociology and Asian/Asian American Studies.

Professor Kang presented a seminar entitled "Mothers as Others: Race, Reproductive Exclusion and a New Global Mommy Wars" at the Institute of Social Sciences - Universidade de Lisboa. The presentation was followed by a discussion with researchers and students.
